a bit about Guy

What are you working on these days?

Bunch of digital projects, finishing Uncharted 3 on my PS4 and getting back home from work before 11:00 pm.

What drives you mad these days?

I have been renovating this huge living room table for two months. Now it’s stuck in the middle of my house and I can’t get rid of it.

What makes you happy?

Hot dogs at midnight, falling asleep on my couch in front of the tv, new game of thrones episode and meeting really nice people.

When was the last time you cried?

Actually, I think I shed some tears when I saw Interstellar.

What’s your latest musical obsession?

Kanye West – Runaway and Tame Impala – Let it Happen.

What was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

Entourage. Ari Gold is still the king but the movie was nothing more than just fine.

When it’s time for a new wardrobe, where do you go?

Too lazy to go shopping, I only shop online – Asos and Urban Outfitters.

What’s your go-to café in Tel Aviv – to meet a friend or use as your base for all your meetings?

Nechama Vahetzi, Café Habima and Dallal Bakery.

Where’s your favorite street or neighborhood to wander in Tel Aviv, the street or neighborhood that you won’t mind taking a detour for, just to walk through it?

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Tel Aviv but never actually do?

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in Tel Aviv but never actually do?

Who’s your hero (dead or alive) and where would you take them to show them a good time?

Louis C.K.. I take him to eat Cinnabon at Rabin Square, ’cause I just have to see him eat at Cinnabon.

What would make a perfect day in the sun for you?

Being at some coffee bar with someone, having a nice talk with good music.

If it’s been raining outside for days and you’re sick of staying at home – where would you go?

The only option is the movie theatre or a friend’s home.

What’s that place in Tel Aviv that you feel like only you know about? Where’s your secret spot and what make it special for you?

Well, at the old city of Jaffa, if you go up the boardwalk, you’ll find this old, empty amphitheater that oversees the entire Tel Aviv beachfront which is fucking amazing.

If tomorrow was your last day in Tel Aviv before you left for good, how and where would you spend it?

I’ll start with breakfast at Café Habima, then have a nice long walk through Rothschild Blvd., maybe find myself at the beach or at a friend’s house. I have to eat lunch at Shafa bar at the flea market. Then a good nap at home, an afternoon beer at the Casino San Remo and bye bye Tel Aviv.

Given the choice, mayor of which neighborhood would you be?

Kikar Hamedina. Someone should start doing something good with this shitty place!

What’s the place in Tel Aviv (or places) you’ll never be caught dead in?

Kikar Hamedina, Hakibbutz, Hamezeg, Hagalina, Haklara, Café Segafredo and all their friends.

You’ve just got the best news ever. Where would you go to celebrate and with whom?

With my best friends, probably at home.

When you feel like going on a night out, what’s the first place that you usually consider going to and why?

Kuli Alma. It’s just always cool.

What’s the thing you love doing that isn’t work, relationship or family related?

Frienddds and meeting people. If not then  my PS4 and Game of Thrones are pretty good friends as well.
