What do you do and why do you do it?

I'm a Marketing Director at a FinTech Start up. I love the fast paced culture and how I get to directly see the impact of my work come to life. I'm also a dancer and marketing coordinator for a dance group called Momentum Dance Toronto which is my biggest passion project.

You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?

Ben Harper - Walk Away has been my heartbreak song since grade 11. I wouldn't use anything for fear that the song would be ruined forever!

What are the best TV shows of all time?

I grew up watching Friends and still re-watch episodes weekly. Arrested Development is so clever in it's writing that a new joke seems to appear every time you watch it. And of course, Game of Thrones.

Name some spots in Toronto that are good for a Tinder date.

Snakes and Lattes or C'est What - both offer board games to deflect from any potential awkwardness.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

Mostly from Aritzia or Club Monaco.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

I avoid Yonge and Dundas Square at all costs.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

I've always wanted to spend a day as a tourist - camera out - taking photos of my favourite spots.

Where can you get the best cocktail in Toronto? Which one do you like?

As a whisky drinker, I love the Old Fashioneds at D.W. Alexander. Carbon Bar also makes a great one with smoked bourbon.

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Coffee Crisp! Growing up in the US, whenever we were in Canada to visit family, I would always take as many as I could back over the border.

What are the Toronto spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

St. Lawrence Market, Distillery District, Trinity Bellwoods, High Park, Yorkville.

Tomorrow’s your last day in Toronto. How do you spend it?

Head to the St. Lawrence market as early as possible to avoid the crowds and get my favourite pastry. Take a few classes at Underground Dance Centre. Walk along Queen St West and do some shopping. Meet up with friends at Gusto for dinner. Get one extravagant cocktail at Bar Chef, then head to a bar on King West / Queen West for drinks.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Paris. It's a city that I could go back to any time and find a new favourite cafe, restuarant or shop.
