80% if my wit is from my parents. 20% is from Arrested Development.

Name some spots in Toronto that are good for a Tinder date.

Start with a coffee date so you can make a swift exit. Jimmys or Balzacs will do. Plus you can bond over the ridiculous name Balzacs.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I'm a boring mix of the Gap, Zara and clothing I've dug up from 10 years ago.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

Mississauga.

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

Patio. Because it’s always damn cold here.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Toronto that you particularly like?

Baby Huey is the best divey bottle necked hip-hop bar.

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Toronto? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

Hammam spa. The experience was amazing but the price stung a little.

What restaurant in Toronto looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

Ciao Europa in Liberty. They have a serious branding problem. But shh don’t tell anyone - I want them all to myself !

Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?

Oreos are different in Canada. They use a different cream or something. OH and ketchup chips.

What’s the one place you think is overrated in Toronto?

The bar district of King West. Steer clear.

What’s the one place you think is underrated in Toronto?

Parkdale (in general).

What are the Toronto spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?

Graffiti Alley, Trinity Bellwoods, Brickworks...
