Working at a food court. It was awful because not enough foot traffic, and not being busy at work is purgatory for me!

Were you born and raised in Toronto? If not, where did you grow up and what brought you to Toronto?

I was born and raised in India and moved to Toronto about a decade ago as my family immigrated to Canada in hopes of a better life and future for their children. Happy to report that it has been a success, and Toronto being the beautiful mosaic it is, has proved to be an excellent home!

What’s your current hood in Toronto and what’s the best/worst thing about it?

Queen West. Best : Its Artsy, home to many local fashion & food brands and highly walkable. Worst: Can look run down if someone is not used to the hole-in-the-wall aesthetic.

Lots of Beyonce reminding me that I run the world, regardless!

Name the best TV shows of all time, and what makes them so good?

FRIENDS, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad because you can watch any episode, any day, any year, and it won't matter. Black mirror for the same reason and that it is an interesting commentary on the world we live in.

The Ripley's Aquarium, if it's good enough for the Weekend and Selena Gomez, I guess its good enough. Other spots include Art Gallery of Ontario and grab crepes at Art Gallery Cafe after, Biking on Centre Island, & Cineplex VIP Movie Experience (Yonge & Dundas).

Call all my friends to take a day off. Breakfast Crepes at Art Gallery Cafe, then catch a ferry to Centre Island. Spend the AM/afternoon biking around, return to mainland and hit Seven Lives in Kensington for tacos, and walk around Queen West, followed by drinks at Thompson Rooftop and then a late night drive to Cherry beach.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Paris because everyone is fashionable, every cafe artisan, streets picturesque, and art impressionist.
