What do you do and why do you do it?

I am a serial entrepreneur. As long as I have wifi I can work from anywhere. My current passion empowering disenfranchised women to earn a fair wage by creating and sourcing ethically made products women actually like and can afford.

The gypsy jazz always gets me out of a funk!

What are the best TV shows of all time?

West Wing

Name some spots in Washington DC that are good for a Tinder date.

DC has a dating advantage. Many activities are free. For example Jazz in the Park Friday's 5-8pm during the summer. If the date is going well, head out from there. Most monuments are great places for a picnic. Or, try brunch at Eastern Market.

Who’s your hero and where in Washington DC would you take them out for a serious hang?

I would love to meet Brene Brown at the Rothko Room in the NGA East Building. Then head to Zaytinya for a long chat.

Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?

I travel a lot so most of my purchases are done in markets and small boutiques around the world.

What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?

M Street in Georgetown. Too many tourist thinking they're seeing the "real DC" when they could go to their local mall and purchase the same things. Why do that?!

What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?

The Kennedy Center has free concerts daily at 6pm. In my heart I want to advantage of them but don't make it there.

What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Washington DC and where did you get it?

I still think about the popcorn soup at Rose's Luxury.

Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Washington DC that you particularly like?

What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Washington DC? How much did it cost and what did you get there?

For my birthday my husband reserved the chef's table at Masseria. WOW! Every dish was amazing. I kept telling myself we would pay this for great seats on Broadway and this was a show. I think our bill was close to $500 for the two of us.

What restaurant in Washington DC looks crap, but the food’s amazing?

The Market Lunch in Eastern Market. Fried green tomato eggs benedict on weekends. Enough said!

Where can you get the best cocktail in Washington DC? Which one do you like?

DC has great cocktail bars so this is a hard question. If I could only pick one it would be the stepdad at Bar Charley.

Where would you take your partner in Washington DC if you wanted to really pamper them?

If this is the first time in our city, then visit the monuments at night when they are all lit up. Magic!

Meeting friends for Brunch at Barcelona. I miss it when I'm gone.

What’s your favorite vacation city in the world and why?

Rome. My sport of choice is "urban trekking" and Rome is the best city to wander. I never get tired of finding a new corner of this ethereal city.
