What do you do and why do you do it?
Currently I am expanding my own business as a certified style consultant (loveyourstyle.ch). In the meantime, my daytime gig is being an executive assistant at a consulting firm. In my spare time, I handle Vespa Club Zürich's social media and member communications.
You’re broken hearted - what tracks does your heartbreak playlist consist of?
Depeche Mode and She Keeps Bees
What are the best TV shows of all time?
I'd say The Walking Dead, Criminal Minds and The Shield
Name some spots in Zurich that are good for a Tinder date.
Coffee at Starbucks or Bar Odeon... that way you can easily bail if it's not clicking. If you hit it off, head to Tasca Romero for some tapas!
Who’s your hero and where in Zurich would you take them out for a serious hang?
Robert Downey Jr. and I'd take him to the Caliente Festival and teach him Salsa dancing :)
Where do you buy those fabulous clothes of yours?
There are a few retro shops I usually check out, plus there is a cool second hand corner at Fizzen. But really, cool stuff can be found anywhere. Even in the stores where you would not expect to. However, I mostly shop online. It's just more efficient.
What’s the area/ spot in town you’ll never be caught dead in?
Mausefalle and Kaufleuten!
What’s the thing you LOVE to do in your city that you never get to do?
To just hang out by the lake for some people watching.
What’s the most decadent / extreme dish you ever ate in Zurich and where did you get it?
That was a Menù Surprise at RICO'S. Every course was a surprise, picked by the chef and acompanied by a matching wine. The dish presentation was beautiful and RICO'S decor is just lovely.
Is there a hidden bar / hole in the wall in Zurich that you particularly like?
Wüste Bar. It's really small and dark, but great to sit outside in the summer. Plus, they make a mean Vodka sour!
What’s the most expensive restaurant / spa / hotel you’ve ever been to in Zurich? How much did it cost and what did you get there?
I'm not really a "posh" or "high maintenance" kind of gal.... I mostly avoid the over-the-top spots.
What restaurant in Zurich looks crap, but the food’s amazing?
Bierhalle Wolf. It is very simple food, but it's good. Plus you get to see elderly folk getting down with live Schlager music :) always fun!
Which snacks can you only get in your country, and which ones do you recommend?
Rivella! It's a very "Swiss" beverage. You are not allowed to leave the country before trying it! Not suitable for vegans though.
What’s the one place you think is overrated in Zurich?
Clouds Bar, on top of the prime tower. Just a bunch of posers.
What are the Zurich spots a first-time visitor can’t miss?
Zürich West (Kreis 5) The former industrial wasteland has transformed itself into an awesome urban spot. Filled with cool shops and nice bars/restaurants.
Tomorrow’s your last day in Zurich. How do you spend it?
I'd spend it eating ice cream by the lake, laying under a tree.
