• If you have a beautiful day at your disposal and an appetite for the culture, the Baha'i Temple in Evanston (the north suburbs) is incredible. I'm not a religious type, but Baha'i is an interesting religion in that it accepts all religions and welcomes them into their temple. The religious aspect is cool, but the building itself is perhaps the most incredible structure in Chicago. Google it. Though Evanston is small, make sure to hit Al's Deli on Noyes street for the best tomato soup in Chicago and take a walk down Northwestern's lakefill.
