Kids are a lot of fun but not that cool so I’ll make it short: if you’re with your kids in Tel Aviv then the beach is your best babysitter and a recipe for happiness. The renovated Tel Aviv port is a very mainstream family hangout spot but wonderful nonetheless - putting the deck in place made the area much more visibly appealing. Jaffa Slope Park is also beautiful, with its grass slopes leading down to the Mediterranean Sea, and the horse you can ride there. All the ice cream you’ll find in the city is good. You can make noise in restaurants. There are plenty of street cats to chase and dogs to pet. I should use this space to mention that the line with the bridge and the time is not my own, but taken from an Israeli song I used to like, but today just sounds old and childish at the same time.
