There’s no subway, the buses are slow, cabs are expensive and the drivers are liars. Just ride your way around. Everything’s rather closeby and there are many excellent bike lanes. Tel Aviv’s municipality has installed “Tel-O-Fun” all over the city, which lets you rent a bike in one location and leave it at another one of the green bike stations. But I’d recommend just renting from one of the bike shops around the city. A good lock is a must, as bikes are frequently stolen. The best bike trail is of course along the beach: you can easily ride from Gordon beach to Jaffa in the South or to HaTsuk Beach in the Northern part of the city.
