Dongnama, which means 'Southeast Asia' in Korean, is located in a hanok (traditional Korean house) village in Ikseon-dong. Yes, you will experience Thai food in hanok! While the structure of the house remains Korean, its graceful, vivid interior reminds us of the tropical South. Their reasonably-priced dishes are prepared by the Thai chef whom they found in Thailand. 'Iksundada', which runs this place, started the business in the hope of saving this historical area from being torn down. Now they also run 'twelve month', '1920 Korea Restaurant' and a couple of other places around. So take your time to explore little alleys of this village.
