Familiar with the names like Park Chan-wook, Bong Joon-ho or Kim Ki-duk? Find out the history of Korean film way before them. There are a cinematheque, a library and a museum in this building but I recommend to visit the museum (1st floor). The permanent exhibition is in English and you can learn how Korea has become the world's 7th largest market in the industry (bigger than Germany). Very fascinating. Also, FREE. In fact, the cinematheque and the library are free of charge as well, but you need to sign up a membership for the library. There's a McDonald near the entrance too - you can easily spend one full-day here.
