A smokers’ bar next door to the Meat Bar (used as the restaurant’s smoking area). The bar offers a variety of meaty food including unique and light dishes. There is also an excellent salad for the vegetarians. The chef is at the bar making your food just in front of you. A big piece of meat rests on the bar, and parts are sliced from it to prepare the dishes.
When I’m hungry, thirsty, and looking for the company of 30-60 year olds, this is the place to go. I have my regular gimlet and try different dishes to satisfy my level of hunger. If I’m really hungry I get the Klaver, a sandwich filled with quality meat slices and fresh vegetables served between two slices of challah bread that’s baked at the place with a fried egg and jalapeno pepper. When I wanna just snack I order the sirloin with tahini and a fried egg. I also recommend HaMeiri Salad with special bulgarian cheese made at HaMeiri Dairy in Zefat which is definitely my favorite salty cheese.
