• Sport is part of the Australian culture and a way of life in Melbourne where we have two public holidays for sporting events (yes it's excessive but it's a day off so I'll take it). The Melbourne Cricket Ground or MCG as the locals refer to it is a year round venue, if you are in town in Summer stop in and watch a cricket match... if it's winter check out an Australian Rules Football (AFL) game. If sport's not your thing don't worry we won't hold it against you (too much)
