On the seam between Neve Tzedek neighborhood and Jaffa an interesting and delicious compound has been developing in the last two decades, including artists’ studios, coffee shops, restaurants, stores, and at the very center of it there’s the high-quality Gesher theatre, bringing together Israeli and Russian culture.
About ten years ago I lived in a loft inside this developing compound. The atmosphere there is pleasant, tasty, and worth a two hours tour. From there you could continue on to the Clock Tower Square in Old Jaffa and from there to the old Jaffa Port, which incorporates old and new.
