Parque De La Exposición is Lima’s best main central park. The park was originally constructed to house the Lima International Exhibition of 1872 and to this day the park still holds major cultural institutions and historical sites. As of 2018, the park is home to the Metropolitan Museum of Lima, Lima Art Museum, an acclaimed drama school, and countless other historic pavilions, buildings, and landmarks.
