It's a very interesting part of Rome that is not touristy and laud at all. Very different from the ancien city center, if you like modern architecture and you want to escape from crowds, this is the perfect place to walk and to enjoy the beauty of the 1930s buildings in rationalist style as part of the Mussolini project of a Universal Expo, never realized. Among them, the Palazzo delle Civiltà and the Palazzo dei Congressi are masterpieces. Recently they built another fantastic Congress palace called "The Claud", designed by Fuksas. After having walked all over the quarter you can relax in a lovely garden in front of a little lake.
