The West Loop houses a salon called Solo where the staff are just as knowledgeable and skilled as they are hilarious. Nail services also provided here, though I can't speak to them myself, but if they're anything like their hair services, they're excellent. Try to get a cut with Melissa. She's got an eye for what looks good and her conversation always leaves me cracking up. Prices are $60-70 for a basic wash and cut.
