• Vegan food so good, my Dad thought he was eating meat. Thankfully there's a ton of vegan and vegetarian places in Chicago, but none come close to being as good as the Chicago Diner. The area is full of art galleries, breweries, and during the summer it's not far from outdoor park events. At least once a month I'll walk straight down Milwaukee from the West Loop. If you don't stop it's about an hour walk but there's great boutiques and other things that will make it worth spending half a day on the journey to great vegan comfort food.
