• The Other Door is a speakeasy that looks like a shut-down newsstand amid a particularly deserted commercial area of North Hollywood. Enter through the magazine rack and order one of their cheap, creative cocktails made with absinthe or their house-infused whiskey. Depending on the night there may be standup comedy, burlesque, or live music in the backroom. There's no food, although sometimes someone will set up a bootleg grilled cheese stove in the back (cash only), but it's a fun, friendly dive bar with great drinks!
