• This is a trek outside of the city, but depending on the musical group playing, it's a really wonderful experience. Bring your full picnic gear, food and drink and enjoy some amazing concerts. They have everyone from rock legends, Common (hip-hop), classical, blues and jazz. There's a Metra train that goes from downtown directly to the venue. And you're able to drink on the train so a good way to get the evening started. If you've got the time, spend the afternoon at the Botanical Garden near by before heading to the gig.
