• Beercades are a big thing in the city - I mean, you'd think the hype would die out, but you'd be wrong. Chicagoans love drinking and competing, and in a manner that doesn't always promote an injury from an impromptu football scrimmage. Uptown Arcade is right next to the Green Mill Lounge and while most of the beercades are packed to the brim, the location and neighborhood make Uptown Arcade a bit more friendly if you want some quality local chatting time and breathing room to move around. Also, the games are free, and when you're visiting somewhere new, free is excellent. Make sure you check what's on their TVs, too.
