10 Restaurants With The Craziest View
Yeah, we know, restaurants are all about the food. But after we eat, all we have left is the memory and our instagram photos (#allthefeels). Our cousins from around the world have major league swag and they know the spots where the food is just a side dish and the view is the main course. Feast your eyes on that.
Overhoeksplein 1, 1031 KS Amsterdam, Netherlands
When you come into Amsterdam by train, you can't miss this tower. It's right on the other side of the IJ river, and it used to be owned by Shell. Now it has a hotel, restaurant and rooftop bar. And.. A swing - the highest in Europe! It's really quite cool, and although visiting the upper deck is not for free, I don't know anyone who didn't love the view!

32, The Shard, 31 St. Thomas Street, London SE1 9RY, UK
For amazing views of London from above, Oblix at the Shard is located on the Shard's 32nd flop and the surrounds are spectacular. The interior of the restaurant is contemporary and sophisticated, and the menu is extensive yet accessible, specialising in modern european cuisine. There's also a lounge bar, so you can sit back and relax with a cocktail (or three) looking out across London's skyline.

Carrer d'Eduard Maristany, 75, 08912 Badalona, Barcelona, Spain
L’Estupendu is a restaurant located in front of Badalona Beach. Technically Badalona is not Barcelona, but there is a bicycle route from the promenade of the city that leaves you in front of the restaurant. It’s a super ending plan when you’ve been riding for half an hour and you want a fresh beer. They have a very nice terrace from where you see the sea.

Rome Cavalieri, Via Alberto Cadlolo, 101, 00136 Roma, Italy
Take a cab and treat yourself to a dinner in the best restaurant in Rome, three-star Michelin. According guide La Pergola chef Heinz Beck is considered the top in Italy. I've been there once, but just to remind a real explosion of different flavors in the mouth, every single dish. The restaurant is located on the terrace of Hotel Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria (Hilton) which offers a breathtaking and incomparable view of the city! The prices are very high, it is advisable to book.

Mahlerovy sady 2699/1, 130 00 Praha-Praha 3, Czech Republic
This is a posh restaurant in the Tower Park - on the Žižkov Tower - the world-known ugliest building on the Earth :) You can enjoy really perfect meal at a "candle dinner" with your loved one (ones) with a view over the whole Prague. Really fantastic! It is a bit pricey, your dinner would be around 150 EUR but it is worth it!

Smolenskaya Square, 3, Moscow, Russia
The restaurant on the 16th floor offers spectacular views over Moscow and "Moscow-City". It is worth it to sell your soul to the devil for this view. The prices are a little higher than one might to expect, but this view is worth such prices.

Kikar Kdumim 10, Tel Aviv-Yafo
In the heart of old Jaffa, next to the sea and Kikar Kdumim there's a magical place. The kind or restaurant which spirit never ends, that’s the Kalamate. A restaurant full of clichés made into pleasant and intoxicating reality. It's a chef restaurant which operated in Jaffa and offers a Greek-Mediterranean menu which consists of seafood, fish and meat dishes. The wine menu is modest, and there's a selection of anise drinks. It's very happy at the Kalamata. Once you've rached Kikar Kduim, you feel a little cliché – the water fountain, the stone buildings, the church, the ancient houses and the tourists. Beside the fountain there's a terrace with white tables and blue table cloths, with vegetation around it. That's the lower sitting area of the restaurant where you can smoke. Up the ancient stairs leading to a decorated ottoman building, is the main hall of the restaurant- there's a bar and a bunch of tables there, but most importantly an amazing view of the sea. If you're lucky, you'll get a table next to the window, and the cliché will become real much faster. Don't try to ask for it yourselves, just suggest they take your request into consideration. Sitting in the restaurant is fun, there's great Greek music and a light and professional staff of waiters. The wonderful dishes are appropriate for sharing, and you should get some and taste more. Mt favorite is the seafood salad: calamari, shrimps and seared mussels with a sour aioli-horseradish sauce served on a baked potato. Alongside that dish you should drink one of the rare anise drinks, like the Ouzo Mini, Matkassa and others.
